Dr. Gary Dean Sladek, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Sladek for 2 years to treat my lupus. Dr. Sladek has never requested or reviewed my bloodwork to see if I was experiencing a flare up or inflammation and never did X-rays to examine the health of my joints. The inflammation that I was experiencing was so bad that it cause my dialysis access to stop working because of the pressure being put on my access. His only concern was to try to get me off Prednisone and suggest Benlysta but never prescribed it. He once asked if I knew my bone density and when I answered no and asked if I should know this, he said I could go to any radiology office, however he never referred me to anyone. His receptionist staff is very unfriendly. I would NOT recommend

I have a lot of issues with joints, hair loss, etc and he had me go get bloodwork done and when the results came in, he made me waste my time to tell me that he cant figure out whats wrong with me! Secretary needs to be retrained on how to deal with people. She is rude

The worst experience ever. My lab results have come back bad for years, and I finally with all my pain decided to go to the rheumatologist recommended by my doctor. All my labs point to rheumatoid issues and my primary doctor confirmed that. Dr. Sladek that I need to have my BMI checked. Blood work that comes back for rheumatoid problems has nothing to do with weight. I am not that overweight at all. This guy would probably recommend castor oil if he could. BLOOD test do not lie. This doctor is the worse and don't recommend at all.

Was referred by another doctor who stated Dr. Sladek would be his choice of doctors in the arthritis field. He was wonderful. Totallly honest. Laid out options and how he saw each one. Highly recommended.

Dr Sladek knows how to help my friend who has a rare illness that causes mouth sores and possible blindness. Breakouts occur about every 3 months on average. The good doctor has to see Roger every 90 days to keep his incurable condition under control because without Dr Sladek’s expert medical help, Roger’s condition quickly deteriorates, his eyes hurt, his mouth becomes so sore he can hardly eat, and his limbs become so weakened he must use a wheelchair. For kindly helping Roger, I thank you Dr. Sladek!

the worst experience Ever, when asking for an appointment, I knew very well that the doctor only speaks English so I would have to take someone to serve as interpreter but the woman who answered even though it was my son who was speaking in perfect English with her she repeated many times that nobody spoke Spanish in the office, he told her not to worry that I would interpret but she kept repeating the same thing, until my son told her that she was a person who did not hide her intolerance towards other languages ??and that we did not want any appointments, unfortunately there is not a grade lower than 1, because for me the rating of 1 is very large for this place

Dr. Slaydek is a fine Dr. and he cares about his patience. While some complain about him, maybe it’s because they don’t do their homework. He hits the nail on the head. The receptionist that people complain about is very straight forward. Not a problem. That’s just her personality. She does her job well. It’s not her job to coddle patience. It’s her job to get things done which she does well.

Dr. Saldek litteraly turned my life around. I had rheumatoid arthritis and could barely function. Dr. Sladek worked with me until we found an effective medicine which made me feel like a youngster again. He is very warm and caring, but most of all he is brilliant and knows his area of expertice far better thanI ever experienced before

This man is only pretending to be a real Dr in my opinion. He never heard of ANY of the treatments/protocols I had been getting. He was weird and unprofessional, including stabbing me with a needle when I wasn't looking. Run, don't come here!

I had a severe, progressively worsening inflammatory arthritis that developed after a pregnancy. I had no prior autoimmune history and blood tests were always normal so it was difficult to diagnose. Dr. Sladek always took time to listen to all my questions, theories and symptoms. He gave me his full attention and I never felt rushed. It took a lot of trial and error to find a treatment that worked for me, but Dr. Sladek remained persistent in trying different options. Ultimately, the treatment we found was 100% effective and I am now living symptom-free. I'm very thankful to Dr. Sladek and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a rheumatologist.
