Dr. Steen is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He has been admitted as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and as a Member in the College of Sedation in Dentistry. He is a member of the Arizona, California and American Dental Associations.Dr. Steen trained at the University of Washington and holds MBAs from Arizona State University and Thunderbird School of Global Management. After graduating from dental school in Seattle, he moved to Europe for 5 years and practiced in the public health systems of Norway and Switzerland. He is licensed to practice in Scandinavia as well as in Arizona, Colorado and Minnesota. Dr. Steen founded CenterCare Dental Group in central Phoenix in 1991 and has been serving the historic districts and central Phoenix residents since.Dr. Steen is an avid bicyclist and has ridden the Rockies, the Peruvian Andes and the Alps. He is formerly a certified …instructor in the Rocky Mountain Ski Instructors Association and today skis still as a non-professional. Dr. Steen speaks German, Norwegian, French and Spanish and is a private pilot.
