Very caring Doctor

Dr Stobbe is excellent with my 22 year old daughter who has Asperger's Syndrome and Depressive Disorder. He listens, shares insights, and is respectful. He talks with her not at her. He values her opinion and includes her in the treatment. He asks questions that shows he understands the condition, respects her as the adult she is and knows not to just let things "slide". There are many examples but I'll share one simple one; a question like "how will you remember to take your medications at the scheduled times?" tells me he understands the memory issues with Asperger's Syndrome, values her input giving her the chance to think about the problem and present a solution etc. He shows genuine concern. Its difficult to find a doctor that does not "tire" of her condition. He shows as much concern today, after many appointments, as he did the first day. He knows his topic. He is eager to share his knowledge at a comfortable pace. I thank God often for guiding us to Dr Stobbe.
