Dr. Gary Lee Tunell, MD

Dr. Tunell is the best doctor I've seen in years. He spent over an hour discussing my situation. Tunell reviews my MRI with me.... slide by slide. Points out all the things that look good and reassures me that I do not have anything to be concerned about. He is patient and understanding, listens to me and never seems in a rush. We discuss the meds I'm on and why. He explains everything quite clearly. He accounts for what may have led to my temporary memory problem. Some doctors these days just depend on test results and skip the basics -- listening to my heart (mine was 'like a Timex'), taking blood pressure the best way -- listening -- even after it had been taken earlier, etc. Some spend more time on their computer than interacting with the patient. Not Tunell. His focus was clearly on me the entire time. He is a kind man with a sense of humor. He has seen everything in his lengthy medical career. Very knowledgeable, sensitive, and wise. He is truly the best of all.

I would certainly go back to Dr. Tunell- hopefully I won't have to. I found Dr. Tunell to be thorough, competent, and took the time and interest to answer my numerous questions. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

My 48 year old has been diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's disease. This was the first encounter that gave her good news. It was as though we entered a light filled room. She was given a thorough explanation of her issues by Dr. Tunnell. We both felt a like a dryer had been lifted off our back!. He was awesome! Seneca is delightful too.

Excellent bedside manner. Spent time asking appropriate questions so the proper testing could be ordered. Great experience!
