Dr. Gayle Rae Crays, MD

Run, do not walk, away from Gayle Crays. If you have a question, you will be met with someone closing the door on you on every visit as you ask your questions. She is unfit to communicate with patients. I've seen her only a few times over the last few years as my PCP and never have I received anything but ego and brevity. When I need help, I thankfully can rely on the nursing staff where she works. I've never been treated with such disrespect for asking questions about my health over the years.

If you want someone that will not listen to you or check your history and have possibly the worst bedside manner, then she’s your doctor. By the time I left from my appointment, I felt humiliated, belittled and defeated. She tells you one thing one time and then the next time tells you something completely opposite. Does not ask what you think rather tells you what her personal belief is. They ask you if you have any issues that you’d like to address and when you do, they don’t listen, nor do they address them. She literally recommended some thing to me that could make me very very sick. All because she did not look at my background or history. It was my annual exam and literally spent 10 minutes with me. She told me that I should not be using a prescription every day that she prescribed to me over two years ago. She never told me that at the time and literally refilled the prescription every single month for me. There should be consequences for people like this. It’s not right that… she can practice medicine with such disregard for other peoples lives. Do your research when looking for a doctor. I have definitely learned my lesson.

I have seen Dr. Crays once before and that visit was decent and she was friendly and helpful. However, when I had a recent visit with her again, and she was very dismissive, cold and never addressed issues that I had. What’s the point of them asking if you had anything you’d like to discuss regarding your health? After reading the reviews from others, I also will be looking for someone more professional and more caring. Clearly there’s something that she’s not happy about or maybe just tired of being a doctor. Sad that people like her don’t have consequences for how she treats people especially someone your trusting with your health.

Dr Crays is always great at really listening to and addressing your health concerns.

10 minutes late because of working on the frontline, helping people during a pandemic. She didn’t care about that or my lost wages, just the 10 minute rule. Parking lot was empty now I know why. Staff was very rude, zero compassion

This doctor will write you off the moment you step into her office. If I could I would give her a 0/5 stars!! I don't know how she is still in practice. I have been since for over 9 months and she wanted to give me Prozac as a way to "solve" the problem, even though I don't have an issue that Prozac will help. She will treat you like gum on her shoe, and not listen to anything you say. She will get uptight, and upset when you try to address the issue, and tell you that you should see another doctor because the doctor-patient relationship is not working. WHAT A JOKE!!!! This doctor does not care about peoples' well-being, just wants to shove a pill down your throat so you will leave her office.

If I could give a 0, I would. I saw Dr. Crays when I was 15 to begin birth control to regulate periods and prevent endometriosis. At the time, I could not use tampons and was not sexually active, but she told me I had to get a pelvic exam and pap before getting birth control, that "everyone does it". This is a lie, as I will explain below. What occurred after that was the most painful, embarrassing, and scarring experience I have ever had with a practitioner. I screamed and cried during the entire process. She ended the appointment by telling me that "sex should feel better than that". According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynocologists, Mayo Clinic, and basically any medical information website, a woman should not have a pap smear or pelvic exam until they are sexually active for 3 years, 21 years old, or had symptoms that warranted further testing. I was none of these things. I came to realize what she did was wrong after I saw other doctors and they told me… what she did was incorrect. I do NOT recommend her for any treatment or diagnosis.

I would give her 0 stars if I could. Dr. Crayes has no compassion, no personality and is very cold. She talked to me like I was an idiot, I got rid of her years ago but couldn't talk my husband into it. He finally believes me what a terrible Dr she is. I wouldn't even take a pet there.

Was 10 minutes late. Sped from work to be seen. was told my appointment was cancelled. Rude. Inconsiderate. How many times do we wait for a dr? Will not be returning.

This is the worst Doctor I have been to! I have been seeing doctor Crays for the past few years now and after my appointment with her today I am never going back!! She acts like her patients are wasting her time. I have been sick for over a month and she pretty much said there is nothing else we can do for you instead of actually taking the time to try to figure out a solution!
