Dr. Gayle Matthews, MD

Dr. Gayle Matthews is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who earned her medical degree from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. With 17 years of experience in women's health, she has developed expertise in managing complex pregnancies and comprehensive gynecologic care. Dr. Matthews is fluent in both English and Spanish, enabling her to serve diverse patient populations throughout the Lakewood and Tacoma communities.

Dr. Matthews practices at multiple locations including Saint Clare Hospital and Multicare Tacoma General Hospital in Lakewood and Tacoma, Washington. She specializes in caring for women with high-risk pregnancies and provides treatment for conditions such as bleeding during pregnancy and depression that can occur before delivery. Her clinical skills include performing detailed fetal ultrasounds and pelvic imaging to monitor both maternal and baby health throughout pregnancy.
