Dr. Geith H Shahoud, MD

I'm a single mom raised 4 kids. My 2nd son had a really hard time with coupling with his father going to prison, dealing with a school bully, teacher's blowing him off and telling him tattle tellers ant cool, me (mom) didn't understand the moodswings he gave, and on top of all that he was going threw THE CHANGE of life. I took him to see every mental health provider in Washington PA and had every test someone suggested to me. (That was before his grade school was trying to send him to another school so they wouldn't have to deal with him. Sadly I had to 302 him to southwood. That's where I meet Dr. Shahoud. He meet with me, explained to me what he thought my boy needed and wanted to keep seeing every month. It was an hour drive from home to his office and if I had to do it again I would. Dr. Shahoud is a fantastic, smart, so kind he truly did help my son. And me. My stress level was so out of control, I really thought I was going to have a break-down. I appreciate you Dr. Shahoud. You… got 5 star's from me.

horrible psychiatrist, doesn't listen well and especially can't relate to patient. Often looks down on you when explaining your issues. The office rarely answers the phone, whether you hit option 1,2 or 3 and when you leave a msg....they rarely get back to you the same day or next day if at all. Part of the few minutes he spent with me, was when he was getting the door and was getting ready for the next patient.....jerk.

Excellent Psychiatrist and Excellent Counseling Staff. Office Staff very friendly. This physician even has appointments on Sunday. I would recommend him to anyone and have in the past very many times!

He is very easy to talk to- whether it's with me or with my child. His staff and therapists are great.
