Dr. Gena Maxine Cobrin, MD

This guess-and-check style doctoring got old after 3 visits - in which I was denied access to diagnostic testing and even asked "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" when describing my symptoms. For a doctor who told me that she doesn't like spending patients' money, it's odd that I'd be asked to meet every month only to be repeatedly told that nothing can be done for my condition. And even odder that I would be prescribed a $900 medication without any trial period or notification that it would cost so much. Thank God for the nursing staff, who - when they found out how much I was being asked to pay - offered me the free sample medication that they keep in the office so patients can see if it works first. I would have had no idea what my options were if I had trusted Dr. Cobrin, and I'll be taking my long list of unanswered questions to a different practice.

Dr Cobrin has been informative and knowledgeable of my medical conditions. She takes time to listen, explain and to suggest a logical course of treatment. She was the first doctor to bring to my attention my liver condition. I had no idea up to that point that I had a serious medical problem.

Dr. Cobrin is a fantastic doctor. I feel badly for anyone that had a bad experience, but I felt she was terrific. I get very nervous in any clinical setting. Dr. Cobrin made me feel comfortable by explaining everything and giving me time to ask questions and express my concerns. I did not have to wait to be seen and the staff was very nice. I highly recommend her.

Doctor Cobrin has been so attentive to my concerns and has done everything to make sure that we get to the bottom of my stomach problems. She is wonderful! Just had my endoscopy and colonoscopy done and she, along with her entire staff, took very good care of me.

Dr. Cobrin shows a lack of bedside manner and lack of compassion for patient's pain. I often wait over an hour for a scheduled appointments.

I was referred to this doctor by my primary care physician. When I read the reviews I got concerned but followed through with the appointment. No need to worry, I had a great experience with Dr. Cobrin and her office staff.
