Dr. Gendy Carela-Kirby

I didn't know she was young and pretty. I love her personality, seems down to earth I just got her as a new physician and I am impressed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kirby's for 5 years. On the positive side, she clearly understands the potential dangers of drugs and is very conservative in that regard. However, she seemingly does not have the time to give the proper attention to her patients and as a result, I am switching to a doctor who will communicate with me in person and not simply through his assistant. In addition, the office staff at Heart & Family are very rude and quite unprofessional. In short, it is a health care factory and very impersonal.

Friendly enough but ineffective. No information provided about care. No interest in learning more about your conditions. Had to prompt repeatedly for care & what is available for someone my age. Prescribes drugs without checking if it's even covered under insurance & if the patient can afford it. Test results not shared or explained. Her nurses were rude & unhelpful. Glad I found a better doctor who has a basic interest in my well-being.

This doctor is the most caring provider I ever had!

Dr Kirby listened to my issues and gave advice on how to treat what I was experiencing.
