Dr. Genester Wilson-King, MD

I went to her for my annuals for about 3 years. She was always interested in my voice and made a rude comment about it each time I spoke. She never heard a word I said, only waiting till I stopped talking so she could make a comment on my voice. She did not even call in my prescriptions or lab work. I waited to hear from her 2 different times, only to call her back and find out she forgot about me. She is very, very rude and a non-caring individual. Only in it for the $$$$.

I love Dr. Wilson King! She has been my Gyno for almost 20 years. She has always been the most caring and concerned Doctor I have ever met. If I have a question or an issue and I e-mail her she will always reply even if it is late at night. She will return my phone calls as late as 7 or 8 pm. She is such an inspiration. I love her modern and upbeat ways. I would recommend her to any woman that wants to feel like her Doctor is her friend and really cares.

This doctor was my OB for my first child. She was so cold to me throughout the pregnancy. I had Gestational Diabetes and she did not tell me and my baby was born with very low Blood sugar. This was after a nightmare of pregnancy where I was maligned and ridiculed by her. I was so sick with "morning sickness" I did not gain wait till my 7th month. She made me feel like an idiot when I worried. I tried to change OB's in my 6 month of pregnancy but couldn't. During labor she ended up using forceps because I was not pushing effectively. It was 4:30 AM and she obviously was NOT happy about being there. I had a stage 4 episiotomy that ended up clotting and on my 6 week check up she lanced without letting me know beforehand. I complained after the birth of my first born and she suddenly stopped doing OB and became a diet doctor. I see she is back now and I hope to warn other pregnant moms so that they do not have to ruin their experience as well. I have had 3 other pregnancies and… healthy babies since this and loved my other OB's. It was not me or my pregnancy it was a lack of concern and empathy on her part. I can only pray that she has gained some since then.

I went to see Dr Wilson King because of unusual gynecological symptoms, severe cramping, between period bleeding- her exam was painful and rough and she dismissed my questions and concerns. She was primarily interested in prescribing her own brand of vitamins and cures and pushed her medispa services (Botox etc.) When I told her I was really just interested in finding out what was causing these issues she became hostile. A week after the appointment I called to find out the results of my exam and the receptionist said it would take 3 weeks to deliver the results. She was very rude. Anxious, I called another doctor and made a appointment in Orlando- I ended up being diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. I am now being treated by this other doctor in Orlando. Dr. Wilson King never followed up.

If ever you've experienced painful physical exams at the gynecologist, you need to make an appointment with Dr. Wilson-King. She is highly skilled, takes time with each patient, and is truly concerned with my overall health and well-being. Doctors like Dr. Wilson-King are a rare find.
