Dr. Genevieve Heulwen Hinks, DO

I had an incredibly disappointing and emotionally exhausting experience with Dr. Genevieve Hinks. As soon as I reported my miscarriage, it felt like any interest in providing care for me completely disappeared. Based on other reviews, it seems this isn't uncommon—Dr. Hinks appears to disregard patients going through miscarriages, which is shocking for someone in her field. They refused to see me in person until I had two blood tests confirming my HCG levels were dropping, but only sent an order for one blood test. This led to a wasted 40-minute round trip to and from the clinic for a blood draw that couldn’t even be completed. On top of that, my voicemail, left on a Wednesday, wasn’t responded to until the following Tuesday—and only after I left a second voicemail in tears, pleading for help. The staff member who returned my call was condescending and showed no empathy whatsoever. For someone working in such a sensitive field, this lack of compassion is absolutely… appalling. Additionally, the fact that this office cannot perform blood draws onsite is incredibly odd and unprofessional. I’ve never encountered a doctor’s office that operates this way, and it only added to the frustration of an already difficult situation. If this is how Dr. Hinks handles a miscarriage, I have no confidence in her ability to handle a healthy pregnancy. I will absolutely not be returning for any future pregnancies and would strongly advise anyone to seek care elsewhere. The lack of communication, empathy, and professionalism from this doctor and her office is unacceptable.

Dr. Hinks is very professional, listens to you and answers your questions to the best of her abilities. She was thro and very professional, Very satisfied with this doctor.

Very through and we solved my issues

Very pleased with Dr Hicks. Gentle during procedure (annual pap and breast exam). Asked about any concerns I had and addressed them in terms I could understand. I felt like a person not a number. Excellent bedside manner, wish all Doctors would treat me like she does.

Loved the people they were friendly and was on time and took me in quickly and listened and I really enjoyed her and the people who work there.

I had to switch to Dr. Hints because my last OBGYN retired so I saw her for the first time just days ago. Very nice and knowledgeable. She's the first female OBGYN I've ever seen and I'm 62!

Best Doctor I've had since my pediatrician. Ever. All across the board, nothing but 5's. She is a REAL person who knows how to deliver a baby! And she's cool, too!

What a wonderful and caring doctor. Dr Hinks took her time, asked questions and listened. She explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Would recommend her to anyone.

Terrible staff members, given wrong information on what procedure was going to be done at my appointment all to find out after waiting two months that it was going to need to be ordered. Called a week later to follow and they still hadn’t ordered it. Staff was rude and complained how overworked they were.

Dr. Hinks was very professional took Up time , explained everything to me . It was my first visit with her and I was pleased.
