Dr. Geoffrey Charles Cly, MD

Dr. Cly likes to run lots of expensive tests on his patients however he and his staff do not appear to have the time to review the results with his patients. He and his staff are very unorganized. My first appointment left me frustrated and I was even more upset when his nurse called me because she thought that Dr. Cly had already told me about my condition. Once she realized I had not talked to the doctor she refused to elaborate any more (stated it was too complicated to discuss over the phone) and left me hanging until their first available appointment - an entire month later. Needless to say I received the bill long before my appointment. Even though his staff scheduled me for an early morning appointment Dr. Cly left me out in the waiting room for 40 minutes, during which two other patients of his came in (after me) and got in before me. I have since swithced doctors. I am not saying he is a bad doctor, but his bedside manner and time management skills require a lot of… work.

failed to note a very serious surgical complication leaving patient permanently disfigured.

Dr Cly's office got me in quickly. Dr Cly spent well over an hour with me at my first visit, answering all my questions in detail and doing his best to put me at ease. I was terrified before surgery. Dr Cly met us before going intot he operating room, and he prayed for me, how awesome is that!! Surgery went extremly well....he came in to check on me that night in my room. He is very caring and gentle. I would highly reccommend him to anyone.

His staff is highly unprofessional..while he was doing a papsmear, one of his nurses made me so nervous by the way she stared at my body. Had an ultrasound scheduled for 2 months in advance when i go that day the same nurse comes out and asks me if i know why one was scheduled and if not, they wont do one. monday i go, another nurse asks me if my birth line was a c-section scar. told her it was my first baby then she goes "oh, well i have never seen one so dark!" im a mixed female, what do you expect? However, he is decent, even if we wait for 45 minutes to see him everytime we come and he doesnt tell me much save for 'your good at this."

I saw Dr Cly for a 2nd opinion. He was very caring and spent almost an hour with me. He answered all of my questions (and I had a lot) and put my fears at ease. I am so comfortable with him he will be performing my surgery.

Dr.Cly delivered 2 of my children and has performed 2 surgeries on me. His compassion and bedside manner were remarkable. I appreciate that over the years he has not had a high turn over rate with his staff. It is comforting to see the same faces in the office.

I was always told if Dr. Cly was going to be late and how much time exactly until my appointment when I arrived. He performed numerous rescue therapies for my IC and helped me regain my health. He has excellent bedside manner and is a thoughtful, genuine and highly intelligent man.

Dr. Cly took the time to speak with me and to put me at ease while I was in his office.

He punctured my bowel during surgery and didn't follow up on it properly in my opinion. I nearly died and lost part of my bowel and spent over 180 days in the hospital, had ostomies and many infections. I wouldn't allow him to do surgery on my dog.
