Geoffrey S. Keenan, MD

Dr. Keenan has been incredibly helpful and patient with me on my journey of healing from both injury and chronic pain. For a long time I resisted and resented his speeches about mind/body pain and sadly continued to seek out mainstream medical treatments until at last, I was done. Because truly nothing from western medicine was actually helping me heal. Finally I became willing to look at myself and embrace the mind/body/spirit journey to become well again. And I AM getting better :) But it has not been easy; I had to stop running to doctors for a "fix" and instead take responsibility for myself -- my thoughts, behaviors, old and false beliefs, and overall health. I had to dig deep and become willing to honestly face myself, to do the hard work to ultimately change my life, my self.... But this IS the path to real healing and I now deeply understand this. Sadly many doctors will never talk to and empower their patients like this because it's not how the western medical system is set… up. So yes, if you are looking for a quick fix, bandaid treatment, I would go to someone else who will give you your pills and injections. But if you really want to heal and you're willing to do the hard and deep internal work, Dr. Keenan has some incredible wisdom and willingness to be an awesome support on your journey :)
