Geoffrey Mwangi, DNP, FNP-C, is an exceptional Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner with 11 years of clinical experience serving Spokane. Dr. Mwangi is deeply dedicated to patient education, health promotion, and disease prevention. He adeptly manages a wide range of …acute and chronic conditions across all age groups.

Asante Health recognizes that mental health and substance use disorders are among the most pressing community health needs. As part of their comprehensive services, they are committed to providing screening, timely initial treatment, and appropriate referrals to specialty care when needed, ensuring our patients receive the right support at the right time.

We are transitioning from AdvancedMD to Athena Health by the end of this year to improve the patient experience, streamline scheduling, and enhance care coordination.

Insurance & credentialing

We are in the final stages of credentialing with Medicaid and UnitedHealthcare.

We are already credentialed and contracted with Regence and Asuris; coverage for those plans begins January 1, 2026. In the meantime, patients with Regence or Asuris may contact their insurance provider to confirm whether they can be approved to be seen at our clinic before that effective date.

For those without health insurance and pay out of pocket we provide:

• Flat rate $200 for first visit, $100 for follow up
• Fee waiver based on ability to pay- Talk to provider during the visit.
• Discounted blood work rate via Quest Diagnostic and imaging via Inland Imaging.
• Available TB Test Options
• Performed in-office at Asante Health or affiliate
• Flat rate: $100
• A prescription/order for the chest X-ray will be sent to Inland Imaging for additional screening.
• Inland Imaging will bill you separately for the chest X-ray. This cost is not included in the Asante Health TB testing fee.
