Dr. George Michael Alliegro, MD

Poor listener and a rough manner during exam!

I could never get more than a quick visit and a glance at a watch from this doctor. Dr. Alliegro was a medicine-by-numbers guy. A pill, a shot or PT. No thinking outside the box. When I politely told him of my dissatisfaction, he responded that I should find another doctor. No apology, no attempt at allowing an extra five minutes to listen and look at the big picture, no new ideas. I changed doctors. My new doctor listened, had good ideas -- some medical, some lifestyle -- and I enjoyed significant improvement.

Dr. Alliegro is a pleasant person and he has referred me to excellent specialty doctors as needed. Perhaps it came with the change in office location -- he seems to be less interested in my concerns and in his job. I am less confident in the diagnoses, and, although his written reports from visits are much appreciated, follow-up often is lacking.

Great doc! Always diagnoses me properly on the 1st try. He is always caring and concerned. He listens well and he also communicates very well. I will stick with him until he retires!

He sseems like he is being bothered. he walks towards the and grabs the doorknob before asking you if there "anything else"he isnt very thorough or interested in patient care
