What a nightmare experience. Company - the last visit they made it mandatory and charged me two hundred for 2 mins visit so the doctor could say that all results are good and I just need to come back every 6 months. They claimed they cannot say it over the phone and I had to take a day off and come personally for a 2-minute visit where the doctor said that everything is fine. My last visit was for NO reason so they could just make more funds. Also, the doctor keeps visits as short as possible and he just tells you the basic information. For example, in my case smoking can cause complications. even though I don't smoke he didn't mention it in the first place. only when I asked him if there is anything that can make things worse and only after that he mentioned smoking. I tried to ask many questions but I believe it's his job to provide ALL the necessary information and to explain the situation and not to try to keep visits as fast as possible, especially for what they charge.

My only wish is that we had met before my health condition became unfavorably worse. If he had not seen me at my 2nd ER visit at Edwards, i would have come back a 3rd time for more blood transfusion due to the persistent hemorrhage only Dr B could stop with prescribed medicine leading up to my surgery. The other doctors at Edwards simply did not know what to do with me other than to declare it's just a bad case of anemia. In fact, Dr B was very upset in how they treated me at my 1st ER visit when they sent me home the next morning thinking the anemia would not persist due to the excessive & continuous blood loss. After many visits as his office, i learn that Dr B is very charming, funny and overall a very competent doctor. I feel safe and in good hands now that i'm in his care as his patient :) <3

Dr. Banuelos was the doctor on-call when I came in to the emergency department of Good Samaritan while having a miscarriage at 16 weeks due to having an IUD. I was transferred into the labor and delivery department and into his care. Almost immediately Dr. Banuelos was unbelievably unsympathetic and rude to me. While I was going through the most traumatic and heartbreaking experience of my life he went out of his way to scold me for not having a primary hospital that was closer to my home. He treated me like I was a child and was very disrespectful to me. When I finished labor and delivering my dead child and afterbirth, I repeatedly asked him if everything had been expelled for I was afraid of a possible infection with the IUD. He assured me everything was expelled and even showed me the IUD. After a long couple of nights with bouts of fever he finally let me go home and instructed me to follow-up with him in 2 weeks. Just 2 days after I came home I experienced extreme cramping… and expelled what looked like a large piece of tissue. I called MY doctor immediately and saw him the following day. He did an ultra-sound and discovered that part of the placenta was still inside. I needed to have a d&c the next day to remove it. I was very upset because Dr. Banuelos assured me everything came out when I pleaded and discharged me without even doing an ultrasound to be sure. My experience with Dr. Banuelos made an already horrible experience even worse. I would never recommend him to anyone. He was negligent, made me feel like a burden to him, and treated me like a child. I hope no one else has to experience the treatment I received from him.

I have been going to Doctor B for several years. He told me he loves his work because he gets to see his 'friends' everyday. His friends are his patients! Not fake at all. Truly a caring and compassionate human being!!

I have been going to dr. Banuelos for over 25 years, he is the most caring and knowledgeable I have been too and has a great bedside manner and is truly interested in his patients lives, he is the best.

Dr. Banuelos is great. Not only does he really care about his patients, but so does his staff.They all treat you like family.

I do not even know where to start. I have been a patient of Dr. B for well over 15 years and in the last 2 years I have decided to leave his practice. The new Office Manager is terrible and a male and that is clearly uncomfortable. I wish the old Manager was still there she knew patients well and how to figure out most issues. As for the staff Maryann and Veronica are great the rest need to find jobs elsewhere they are rude and unhelpful. I hope Dr. B reads these reviews and takes a hold back of his practice or get rid of the office manager who clearly should not be in this field. I am leaving and I know alot of others who have left as well. As far as Dr. B as a doctor one of the best in the area with the worst staff.

Wow- looks like I should have read this before. I agree the office staff is pathetic. They need to learn the basics of dealing with the public. Then teach them to deal with public that might have health issues. RESPECT might be a good word here. They sure don't talk to any of the patients with respect. I like Dr. B and am just wondering if he really knows what is going on? I called to talk to him and was informed that talking to the doctor would be a charge added to my account!!!! So- does that mean it is all about the money? I would love to believe it is not- but my phone calls tell me differently. Surround yourself with people that make you look as good as you are..... that is not happening right now Dr. B. People are leaving........... not just me.

I've been a patient with Dr. Banuelos for five years and never had problem. He is one of the best surgeons in the area, couldn't trust anybody like I trust Dr. B. His staff very friendly, especially Veronica always sweet and helpful. I'm very happy with this Dr. And his staff.
