Dr. George L Barrett, MD

This man saved my life. Long story. He is the best!!!!!!

I just had a great experience with Dr. Barrett. He was attentive and took a lot of time to go over my symptoms and treatment approach. I did not feel like he was rushing at all. His office manager was also kind and extremely helpful.

Dr Barrett has been extremely caring and supportive of my condition and treatment. I would highly recommend him.

Rushes through the apt. Dismisses or ignores your thoughts and opinions. Too busy pushing his quick diagnosis on you so he can write scripts and run out the door. He is arrogant, pompous and conceited. It's unfortunate that his ego stands in the way of being an effective Dr. To add insult to injury, he will charge you $50 if you cancel your apt. As if he needs the money!

Repeatedly refused to speak to me directly re: my mother's care. When we eventually spoke, he was pompous, arrogant and rude. Refused to set up treatment, claiming it was really complicated and time consuming. In fact, I was able to set up the necessary treatment in one phone call. He told me unless my mother was dying, he had more important things to do. Unbelievable, but true!

Don't waste your time. Terrible doctor.

Dr. Barrett is amazing..I have been suffering with IBS for several years and i did not realize that I could get help. I dont know how to thank him for his sensitivity and thoroughness.

Despite his high opinion of himself, he was unable to help me at all with my IBS. In fact, I ended up sicker than I had ever been after a year of his questionable treatments. He is difficult to get a hold of, even in emergencies, and when I was hospitalized and in a great deal of pain, he was completely apathetic and unsympathetic.
