Dr. George Pete Batsides, MD

After my father’s cardiac catherization, we found out that he had 4 blockages (a couple of arteries were almost 100% blocked) in his heart and suffered a heart attack at some point. He needed to undergo immediate surgery (quadruple CABG). The Cardiologist recommended Dr. Batsides as a cardiacthoracic surgeon. Dr. Batsides and his PA, Ellie Delaportas, discussed the procedure in depth. My father and I were both scared as this was all so unexpected. Dr. Batsides and Ellie made us feel so comfortable and at ease. The next day, my father had his surgery which lasted about 6 hours. Dr. Batsides came out to speak to me about the case and was just so kind. My dad was discharged from the hospital 5 days after the surgery. He is doing amazing and we are so grateful for Dr. Batsides. Thank you Dr. Batsides and team!

My father had renal failure very risky surgery. Most people would not have preformed the surgery my father needed on him. However Dr Batsides did, and he did it perfectly ... made my father have the heart of a 20 year old he was able to get back on the kidney transplant list. The surgery lasted all day and well into the evening. Dr Batsides was amazing he gave us more time with my father. Great bedside manner just the most amazing surgeon! We were blessed to have him as a surgeon.

He is extremely excellent surgeon..saving people life everyday like a sweet Angel.He came down yesterday he stayed with me just long enough to reduce me Thank you! God bless ????

Dr Besides walked into my room 5 years ago he drew a picture of a heart on the board he stated I'm going to do this this n this you will back to work in 3 months 5 year later I'm stronger and better thanks to him.

Recently, my dad had a Mini Aortic Valve Replacement performed by Dr. Batsides. Words could never express enough thanks for the kindness, expertise and professionalism he displayed during my dad's hospitalization and post operative follow up visit!! He truly is a wonderful physician!
