Dr. George Benavidez, MD

Dr. B as we call him has been our family doctor for over 20 years. He is an excellent physician and really cares about his patients. He and his staff have been extremely patient with me in particular. I suffered from migraines in the past and was a difficult patient. They have been understanding and caring.

Dr Benavidez made me feel violated and is very inappropriate. Do not go to him if you are a female. He also misdiagnosed me and put me on medication which sent me to the ER.

Dr Benavidez is inappropriate. He examined me without gloves, he touched me inappropriately and made me feel violated.

Harsher words could be used to describe the manner in which this provider treated a family member of mine. Not only did he misdiagnose a patient with his version of "practicing medicine" but he blatantly did NOT consult or refer with colleagues. I suspect interpretations on labs and scans can at times be suspicious or even dubious but he did not recommend the next steps in medical treatment. I feel the absence of extensive assessments geared him to a first aid remedy setting. He will never adjust in his techniques to do right by the patient, his proficiency lacks compassion, he will never understand unless he is on the receiving end of the worst experience from a medical professional.

Zero stars! This whole office is garbage. It takes over a week just to get one appointment. Then when you call them out on it they refuse to see you. They promised to see him on a Thursday. So he came from out of town , he’s a college student so they wasted a whole week of his time when he could’ve been seen by another doctor and gas and then when we asked them what the holdup was the actual doctor (George Benavides)refused to see him for no explanation other than he has major anger issues because I called them out on their Incompetency. Don’t waste your time. And they WILL waste your time.

He made me feel so uncomfortable touching me and holding my hand and playing with my shoulders. His nurse doesn't come in when he is with female patients.

He spends little time with patients. Doesn't want to hear their concerns and won't refer you to someone who can actually help you.

Voicemail is not a substitute for office assistance. Why when we call to schedule an appointment do I get a voicemail? Why can't anyone schedule for this group of physicians? I HAVE to get an rx refilled and all I get is option to leave vmail...how ridiculous and unhelpful.

I never get a follow up appointment I have to call to set appointments to do so.

I have been seeing Dr. Benavidez for a number of years & I am very happy with him & his staff, especially Mary the nurse. Dr. Benavidez is very sensitive to his patient's needs & concerns. His expertise in the medical field on various problems I have had is excellent.
