Dr. George Alan Bracher, MD

Dr. Bracher severely perforated my colon during a routine colonoscopy. He misdiagnosed the cause of my Recovery Room pain and sent me home. Three days later I had life-threatening circumstances that required major emergency surgery and a colostomy. It took two more surgeries and almost six months of homecare and I need additional surgery. I imagine he feels pretty bad about this, but Im not sure because he hasnt reached out to me to apologize yet.

I had a colonoscopy scheduled for over a month, two weeks before the appointment they called to reschedule. I rescheduled to fit their needs even though I am a professional too and had to rearrange my schedule. One day before the rescheduled appointment when I had not had regular meals for over 36 hours they called again to reschedule and they were rude.

Dr Bracher and the staff at SEVG are awesome. I have been a patient of Dr. Bracher's for quite a few years and have always had 5 star treatment from him and his entire staff. I have recommended this group to others and they have all received the same competent, caring treatment. They work hard to make your visit as pleasant as possible. Too bad there aren't more stars.....

I'm still sick at my stomach.My last checkup was not very good,my tummy was still full of food after a 12hour fast.They seem to think this is ok..Sent me a letter that said they will see me in two years..Need a new doctor..

Have always been very pleased with Dr. Bracher, he treats me with the utmost respect and has a great bedside manner. He knows how to put me at ease and is very informative before and after the procedure.

My visit to Dr. Bracher was extremely disappointing because he offered zero insights into what may be going on. Then referred me to do a CAT scan. And worst he never followed up with the results of the CAT scan other than simply asking me to go back to my PCP.

Dr Bracher is the best GI in the entire phoenix metro area. I ought know from going to others who just didn't listen to me. He's brilliant. All calls are returned promptly with answers. This is the one, don't look any further, you will love Dr. Bracher. SEVG facility for colonoscopy and EDG right next door is very efficient and comfortable for patients.

Both my husband and I have gone to Dr Bracher and can recommend him highly. His manner is unrushed, friendly, attentive and thorough. He deserves the Marcus Welby, MD award.
