Dr. Card was kind, easy to talk to explained my diagnosis and medication being prescribed.

Dr. Card was extremely thorough! My mind was set at ease with his diagnosis! My visit was at his sugarland location which was very easy to get to! He’s a keeper and I would definitely use him as my ENT as this was my first visit!

I set up an appointment that was 3 weeks out based on availability. I gave my insurance information and was told I would receive a contact call back to advise how much my insurance would cover. They day finally came with no contact attempt from the office, so I called 2 hours before my appointment to ask for costs and things of that sort. I was advised that I needed to pay everything upfront with no real notice of any fees. Usually they would bill my insurance first, then bill me. Which is what I then inquired on. I asked about payment plans or even the ask to pay them the next business day. They declined to see me. Now I understand that services shouldn't be free, and that there should be a fee for service. But I wasnt given any other options at the time nor did they ever apologize for not reaching out to me in advance. Now I have been waiting for 3 weeks to be seen, and none of that was put into consideration. I just feel failed by the health system overall. I wont reccomend this… practice to anyone. Unless you have money upfront, your insurance doesn't matter. Beware.

The staff and doctors were very kind. I however didn’t expect the appointment to take the 2 1/2 hours it took. I wish that I would have been advised that the doctor was running late and that I could have adjusted my time so as not to have spent so much time just sitting any waiting

I had a viral infection that caused sudden hearing loss in the last 2-3 weeks or so. I went to see Dr. Card in the hopes to get an emergency high dosage of steroids (Prednisone). My hearing test came out some difficulties in the high frequency that matched what I was experiencing on my hearing. The Dr. just said if I wanted a hearing aid..I was chocked to hear him saying that instead of trying the the Prednisone steroids. I beg to have a prescription of the steroids to try and see if my hearing will get better, but at the end he just prescribed me a very low dosage of methylprednisolone. I did't know anything about methylprednisolone until I research it and found out that that steroid is not enough to treat sudden hearing loss. Everywhere I look, the standard steroid to treat sudden hearing loss is Prednisone. I called back the doctors office and explain this to their assistant, and she said that that the Dr. Card only prescribes methylprednisolone for sudden hearing loss. I was in… chock about all this experience. Dr. Card said if I wanted a hearing aid, without going through the high dosage steroid Prednisone. I don' know but everywhere I research, sudden hearing loss specially due to viral infection, should be treated as an emergency, and prescribe the Prednisone right away. REALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH DR. CARD and HIS ASSISTANT!

Wait time was over an hour "with an appointment" Called back later to get sleep study facility info and was transferred to a voicemail 3 times. Going elsewhere !

Yes, I would highly recommend his services. He was gentle and competent when cleaning my ears.

Wait time included filling out paper work, after I was called back for the exam I waited about 5 minutes. I recommend Dr Card to everyone I know that needs an ENT.
