His office canceled my appointment three hours before it was scheduled because I had already seen another doctor at HSS for the same condition, and they said he wouldn’t see somebody who had already had the condition looked at. So much for getting a second opinion, not sure if this is the doctor and his office’s policy or HSS but it the office rep made it sound like it was the doctor. Very disappointing because if I had canceled an appointment same day, I would’ve been billed, but apparently they can just remove care from you even when in acute pain.

I was referred to Dr Cyril by one of his colleagues after I started to experience extreme shoulder pain. He was quick to get me in for an MRI and then was able to get a follow up to discuss the diagnosis. The news was not so good but he put together an action play with conservative timeline to get me healed up.
