Dr. George Michel Elias, DO

Dr. Elias is arrogant, condescending and rude. You come in, he comes in, ask why you are here, goes over the labs or yells at you if you haven't been yet, ask if you need refills, and out the door you go. If you have a problem that needs the attention of a real doctor, you are sent to the ER. Expect verbal abuse every appointment. This guy is a loser for sure.

Going to Nova Medical is basically buying your degree. Can't get into a real medical school.

I asked if I could bring my cholesteral down any other way besides taking his ordered statin pills, he exploded: "Who's the doctor here?!!" He will try to make you feel stupid if you don't quickly accept his verdict. His disrespect to his first time client (wonder if he needs to sell medicine) made me quickly look elsewhere. I'm very happy with another doctor a few blocks away and my levels are looking much better (no statins). Amazing, I'm glad we live in America and have options.

All these comments are true, we have been going here for years and he has gotten worst each year. This last appt. the worst. He needs to take a good look at himself. I feel I need a apology from him for his actions. HE DOES NOT LISTEN OR HAVE ANY FEELINS FOR HIS PATIENTS>

I am disappointed. It is a mystery to me that this establishment is still in business. I rather go back to the VA instead of dealing with a person that won't even listen to a customer because after being a patient we are all customers. Having said that, even though insurance is a patient's responsibility when a customer/patient attempt to communicate the intention of only doing what's covered, the minimum the establishment can do is communicate that it is required a totally different visit to know the results of blood test. Perhaps a call or include the results to the first visit would be reasonable. We all know our medical system is broken and greed rules the industry but at least listen and not be rude. I will assume people that goes there either like to be a number, have no financial worries or have not experience their rudeness. I will appeal the claim and stand by firmly with this review. This post could have been avoided by just listening to a customer with a concern. The… billing department is so great (clueless) that I received a letter 3 months later with the original balance stating that if I do not pay our relationship will be terminated (it has been since the second visit) and the account will be given to a collection agency when I have made payments every months. I guess instead of paying them what I can, I will pay with a credit card.

I have never had such a negative experience before with a DR. Arrogant, rude, unpleasant would be an accurate description of his bedside manner. Diagnosis was quick and questionable at best. After deciding to find another DR in Apopka, my RX s needed a refill and he refused to do so. Went without until I could see the new Dr. Wow! This guy is scary.

Dr Elias has a very rude & arrogant personality. I would NOT recommend him to my worst enemy.

Horrendous experience!...This was a follow up appointment 2 1/2 weeks after 1st appt. He could not retrieve info from last visit initially & seemed confused why I was there. He did not address why I was there on a follow up, but proceeded to refer to the visit prior 5 6 months prior. When I mentioned the antibiotic he prescribed had not worked & actually developed another symptom he became irritated and would not listen to a question I was trying to ask & interrupted me by blurting out, "I AM THE DOCTOR" & accused me of arguing with him, when I was only trying to ask a question. Judging by the many adverse comments here, he obviously has a problem & has a Jeckyl & Hyde personality. He is obnoxious- rude- inconsiderate & has Zero patient rapport. He should consider a job that does not have contact with public! Totally Unacceptable & inexcusable behavior!!

His bedside manner is unacceptable all he does is degrade and look down when talking to you. He is always saying how bad your labs are that you are not doing what your suppose to do and will not listen to you when you explain what is going on. He does not want to hear anything you have to say. He does not offer any assistance in trying to get you medications that he himself has prescribed and the insurances deny. As per his words "we do not do that here". If he refers you to a specialist and you call his office for refills etc. he will not order them for you and tell you that since he has referred you that you need to call them. Have seen may doctors in many states and have never had one treat me so poorly and unprofessionally EVER. When you leave his office you feel so bad and depressed about yourself. He is the most uncaring doctor I have encountered.

The office is very clean. The nurses are very pleasant. The office/front desk staff are okay. Dr. Elias is an arrogant, condescending, egotistical bully. He rushes through his visits with patients and is easily annoyed. The worst bedside manor I've ever experienced. I have a diagnosis that I feel suits him well......... Narsasistic Personality Disorder! Avoid this doctor and his verbal abuse. Never again!
