Dr. George Kipel, MD

I'm sure Dr. Kipel is a great doctor, but his front desk office staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I work at a different medical institution. I called to get information on a mutual patient who needs to be cleared for surgery. Not only was the female unhelpful, she was extremely nasty and rude. I thought maybe it was because I called at the end of the day, but nope! I tired to follow up the next day, and got an even worst attitude. I would think his staff would be more helpful, caring, and just nicer when it comes to dealing with PATIENTS HEARTS!! And may I add, I was calling in reference to a child who was having a very serious surgery.

I known dr kipel since 1993 until 1996 . Dr kipel is one of the best i mean one of the Lissette A.Torres .dr I ever known. He took care of my daughter at United Hospital for Children at Newark NJ.

He cares about his patients , doesn't push drugs .

Was kind and had a fairly accurate diagnosis however he did not run the appropriate tests to confirm anything. Now that I am in adult cardiology my doctor showed me that all of my reports say MAYBE has this MAYBE has that but he never followed up with the test when i was extremely symptomatic. My current doctor now is running the tests however it is extremely important to catch the episodes in full swing with Dr K had the opportunity to do and confirm the severity and path of proper treatment.

I met Dr. Kipel when I was 26 weeks pregnant with twins. He took his time and was very reassuring. When my children were born, my son was diagnosed with Down Syndrome and severe heart issues. He was a kind spirit who held our hand the entire way through multiple surgeries, endless appointments and even had us come in way after hours to check my son because we were so concerned. I believe my son is alive today because of his competence and compassion. He is one of a kind and know that although our road is a long one, he will be with us all the way.

I met Dr. Kipel when I was 20 weeks pregnant, he diagnosed mt son who is now 3 years old,with a CHD and has been our Dr. ever since. He will give you all the time and information you need to feel comfortable with what needs to be done in order to address your child's needs. He will work with you after hours and never make you feel like he is too busy. He knows all doctors in the major heart centers and will always be in contact with you through any procedure your child might need. My son loves him and looks forward to seeing him every 3 mionths.
