Dr. George Yung Kung, MD

My experience with dr. Kung was the worst thing I have ever been threw in my life. The staff is rude. And years later I still think about my experience about that day and I still have anxiety. If I can suggest to even one woman to not see this doctor I will feel like I have made a great accomplishment to the world. Not only did he make me feel like a piece of trash personally I think the guy is a pervert and needs some medical attention himself. There is no reason a patient needs to take there shirt off to have their heart rate checked. After the procedure the nurse and doctor left the room and didn't come to check on me one time. Not to mention their website said an adult could accompany me in the exam room when it came down to it they refused to even let my own mother be there with me. I tried to write this review right after but was so distraught for the longest time I was not able too. To dr. Kung and his wannabe staff goof luck continuing a business where you treat people like… trash. And that's being nice.

Dr. Kung is FABULOUS! I am 50 now and have visited him (as my insurance allows) since I have been 19 years old and have always been pleased with his gentleness, professionalism, and wonderful bedside manner. He always has plenty of time to answer my questions and I have never felt rushed.

Saw this physician for an early termination when I was a high school student in 1985. He was wonderful, kind and explained things well. Went to see him again about 15 years later as a married woman, same reason, different circumstances. Again, he was fantastic. He talks to you about birth control and doesn't judge. Procedure was quick and painless both times. He changed my life for the better twice. I will be sad when he retires, the days of needing those particular services are over, but I have daughters, friends, patients and neighbors who might need him. I have referred people several times.

Dr. Kung is my gynecologist. I have gone to him for years because he is a wonderful doctor. He has a way of building genuine rapport with his patients. I am very appreciative of his level of expertise and care he provides patients like myself.

First off I went to an fpa womens clinic first and it was like a mill. The staff at fpa were not caring or knowledgable( ghetto attitude)- furthermore those clinics use doctors that have been sued many times for messing up and plain negligence. ( thankfully I found a protesters pamphlet that I cross referenced with the sd court website that was indeed true) I almost let a Frankenstein weirdo whom has over 20 lawsuits work on me! That's when I decided to come to Dr.kung - he has no record of malpractice etc and actually read my chart prior to when I talked to him. He was caring and so was his staff. They were pleasant and gave me more medicine during the procedure because I was still sensitive. What is WONDERFUL is the clean, warm, and peaceful ENVIRONMENT. They have nature pictures above the table to look at and they LET someone be BY YOUR SIDE the WHOLE time. And they take medi-cal!!! Caring humane and skilled. Had a private door to exit as well. I write this so women go here… not a nasty clinic. Made this terrible experience more tolerable knowing I was in good hands.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this man.. He's very caring, reassuring & truly cares about the patient he's taking care of. He never passed judgment on me while I was there making the most important decision of my life.. He defiantly made me feel safe & important during my visit.

I cant say enough "nice things" about Dr. Kung and his staff. He is an incredible gynecologist. I wouldnt trust anyone else!

all i have to say is he is the greatest doctor ever!!!he does talk to you about your other OPTIONS and makes sure if its the right thing to do.the wait wasn't long,service was great,he was great,he follows up..i just liked everything about his service.

Terrible experience regret the day walked in this office. Was not informed of my other options.Really painful abortion physically and now I feel sad every day. Cold insensitive staff and Doctor. Money driven I guess. Easy to get an appointment I guess cause they are eager to get you in the door for the abortion
