Dr. Leach has won several awards as a teacher, including the PGY-3 Clinical Teacher of the Year Award and PGY-3 Outstanding Achievement in Resident Research Award in 2010 from Emory University School of Medicine and PGY-3 Outstanding Achievement in Resident Research Award in 2009, also from Emory. Dr. Leach has also served as an advocate for many causes, including the Candlelight Vigil for the Uninsured, ACEP …Legislative and Advocacy Conference, Georgia Statewide Trauma Action Team and Georgia College of Emergency Physicians. He has been published several times for his research and has given multiple presentations on emergency medicine topics.
