Dr. George Emanuel Mcquilkin, MD

Dr Quilken was my doctor for OB GYN for two of my pregnancies he was great and his staff very caring and professional. I never had long waits and he always knew how to calm my fears.

Do not recommend. He does the bare minimum and does not do follow up. Also does not warn or educate patient on side effects of treatments. He left my reproductive and digestive health in shambles over negligence.

He delivered my first son, the best doctor I've ever met. I wanted to travel from FL to Hoboken, NJ just so he could deliver my second son!

Dr. McQ is the ultimate BEST OB/GYN. I was referred to him by a friend. He delivered her baby. I did not like my previous OB because she just seemed so lax and no bedside manner. Dr. McQ is the total opposite! He takes a LOT of time with you. He explains things to you carefully, he lets YOU speak, which a lot of doctor's do not do and he is very calming. I have fibroids very bad. He did my first surgery and about to do my second. I wouldn't trust ANYone else with my body in this way. Love, love, LOVE him! Oh and SUE, his nurse at the front desk is the BEST!!! Don't know HOW I would get through things wouthout her. As some people, say, the wait is rather long but that's because he takes such time with his patients. HIGHLY recommend him. So go! Hurry up!! lol!

I woke up with a gynecology problem, was scared to death and called the office at 7:00 in the morning. The service offered to page the doctor, but I asked for a call back to see if I could get an appt. I was told the office opened at 8:00. I received a call by 8:10, told the nurse my problem, and was told to come in immediately. Explained I had to take my child to school and was told to come in as soon as I could. I was at the office by 9:00, saw the doctor, who immediately put me at ease and he called the hospital himself to get me an ultrasound appt. immediately. Finding yourself with a problem such as this is scary, but the office walked me through it every step of the way. To me, Dr Mcqilken and his staff is second to none!

I am very timid when it comes to anything that has to do with an OBGYN, although when choosing Dr. McQuilkin as a doctor to see me during my pregnancy i was not as timid because many have told me that he's great at what he does and it is true. My sister recommended me to him since he delivered my nephew and my sister said he was very understanding and easygoing when it came to delivery time. I would definitely recommend Dr. McQuilkin to every pregnant person i know, He is humorous and very gentle.

A short time ago, I gave birth my little drop of sunshine. It was a very difficult pregnancy at best. Dr. McQuilkin was very informative, supportive and a great motivator when I was down. Even though I delivered a preterm baby, she was perfect. I attribute that to the great works of Dr. McQuilkin and his very compassionate staff. I called the front staff often, they spoke to me everytime and addressed all my concerns and many, many questions. All his girls are great, always eager to help when I called and willing to go the extra mile. I understand that the doctor can not get on the phone every time a patient feels like asking a question. That is why I appreciate his staff so much, my relationship and experience with the staff was wonderful.

Dr Mcquilkin is warm, kind, and at times funny. One of the reviews was right, he is just like a big teddy bear. Awesome to have delivering your baby. The wait is a bit long, but given how much time he spent at the hospital with me during my first delivery, I'm willing to tolerate wait time during regular check ups. The nursing staffs are great, I always felt like I was well taken cared of there. Only issue, the front receptionist, she really is a very unhappy person. She will NEVER let you SPEAK to the doctor on the phone. She will NEVER pick up your call during office hour if you are a patient there. I did an experiment, she only picks up New numbers, for they might be new customer. Suggestion: if you have anything you need to discuss with the doctor, just go to the message, get the message service to contact Dr. Mcquilkin directly. He will promptly return your call. Even at nights and weekends (seriously, it takes longer for the receptionist to call you back than the doctor… himself).

Dr. McQuilken has a true gift for putting patients at ease while getting down to business. That's very rare, in my opinion. He's a very good listener and spent a good amount of time with me, esp since this was our first visit. The wait time wasn't that long and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend him.

The doctor is extremely good except that you have to tolerate a moody female on the front desk who behaves as if she is the only authority in the office; would not bother to return a smile or a wish; she is so arbitrary in her behavior that she would barely let you talk to the doctor, would snub you depending on her mood, would not even listen to your requests; one feels insulted witn her ways. She is just not fit to be in a health sector.
