Finding a doctor who actually listens to his patients and doesn’t dismiss their search for answers is a rare thing. Dr.Mehfoud displays compassion and empathy, after trying to replace a terrific GP who left Richmond, finally I found this practioner. Dr. Mehfoud is really special.

Best doctor I have ever seen!

Dr. Medfoud and his entire staff are wonderful. I travel quite a distance to see Dr. Mehfoud however it well worth it.

I had to wait an hour past my appt to be seen. When I was finally seen the MA was taking my heart rate and I told her I am often tachycardic (fast heart rate) and she said no you are fine it's 118/72.... I told her what I meant and she goes "oh..." as if she has never heard the word. Then the doctor came in and spent 3 minutes with me where I then waited an additional 35 minutes (mind you I was pregnant and sick and since it became such a long appt. I left starving). While I waited that 35 minutes I got to hear the doctor tell a drug rep how awesome he was and how he used to work in a nursing home and when he left they offered him more money to return because he was so amazing. After he told his story to her he returned to say that I am fine and to just drink what. His diagnosis was correct I had a cold and was fine but the way I was treated has me looking for someone new.

I cannot rate Dr. Mehfoud highly enough. He is kind, genuinely concerned about my health, and listens attentively. It's awesome to have a physician who acts as a partner in my care. I wish all of my docs could be more like him.

Dr. Mehfoud is a wonderful Doctor. He is always on time.He takes time to listen to my concerns.He is insterested in what I have to say.I have reffered several people to see him & they all love him, My husband who usually refuses to see a doctor being one of them.Dr. Mehfoud truly enjoyes caring for his patients & it shows through everytime I see him.

He remembers you. He remembers non medical issues so I assume he has the medical issues covered easily. He has never been abrupt or distant during an exam. He seems really understanding with older patients. He has also treated my aunt,mother,wife,and now my daughter. He is our family doctor.
