Dr. George Martin Mullen JR.

I made an appointment to get my heart checked out because I was having symptoms that, to me, were scary. Dr. Mullen did not want to see me because I had previously seen a different cardiologist at the same practice (that dr. was on vacation at the time I saw Dr. Mullen). So, I suppose he was already feeling irritated when I showed up for the appointment. Dr. Mullen asked some standard questions, then left the room for a few minutes. I’m certain he assumed I would not hear his comment as he walked away, but he said (very clearly), “This is a waste of time.” Thanks for your tact and kindness, Dr. Mullen. I would not see this doctor again if I was having a heart problem. His comment made me feel horrible for even making the appointment. If I ever have heart problems, I hope I can find a cardiologist who is a kind and understanding doctor who will accept that I am as human as he or she is and will not make me feel like I am wasting his or her time.

Dr. Mullen has taken care of me for almost 25 years, since my heart transplant in 1989. In the last 30 years I have encountered over 100 doctors but none come up to Dr. Mullen. He has been the most knowledgeable and caring doctor that I have encountered in my life. He is the standard to which other doctors should be rated. In my waning years, I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Mullen to everybody in need of a good caring doctor, a person to trust.

Dr. Mullen is so caring and listens , I feel he really cares about his patients and takes the time needed. I have complete confidence in this doctor and what he thinks. His staff especially Katrina and Joan are caring and prompt at helping. I would highly reccomend reccomend him.

At last, I found a doctor who listens and does not over-medicate. A rare breed indeed.

I trust him with my life, which he has saved, and I thank God for him.
