George Newman, MD

After a minor auto accident I went from: having earned earning A BSc in Nuclear Physics, 2 Masters Degrees, and starting several computer based companies to: a basket case. I didn't recognize my wife, couldn't write the alphabet, and couldn't add three 3-digit numbers. I was seen for brain trauma by for 1 week at a regional medical facility and discharged (with no conclusive diagnosis) to the Neurology department at well-known teaching hospital. After one week and many tests they said said time was the only treatment and I would be best served by a nursing home. I was referred to Dr. Newman by a friend - - Long story short: He had me back to the real world in one week. Mine was a rare case but he and his brilliant residents had me on the road to Recovery

Dr Newman was the first (of 3) to correctly diagnose and then correct my brain injury. At Jefferson they just said "give it time". A rare condition (amyloid angiitis) that he had only seen 3x in his career. I went from not being able to write the alphabet or recognize family to recovery in only 3 days thanks to Dr Newman and his staff.

I had gone to see Dr. Newman for carpal tunnel, he said I had a stroke(which is the only thing he knows. And wanted me to undergo a surgery on my neck.Please avoid this idiot

My experience with Dr. Newman has been outstanding. My wife was seen for migraines. He has been an exceptional physician who is and outstanding clinician and a compassionate human being. His caring and professional demeanor immediately put my wife and I at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Newman.
