Dr. George Ronen Nissan, DO

Drastically over prescribed medication to me. A lot of patients like this because it's difficult to be in pain. But in the long run it can be very detrimental to your health. I would not recommend this doctor.

I had given up and survived in a dark room daily after seeing Dr after Dr. and no one knew what to do with me,until I found Dr Nisson. Dont loose hope! It won't be overnight but he can help you. I gladly live and do things that I missed out on before because of pain. Dont give up!

Dr. Nissan is the best doctor I have ever gone to. He listens to my problems, and never gets mad. I would recommend this doctor to anyone any day.

After years of daily migraines, I found Dr. George Nissan and he worked with to reduce and finally almost eliminate them. He is such a kind doctor, he listens patiently and never rushes me through the appointment.

Long time patient of Dr. Nissan from Baylor. I tolerated Baylor's inadequately run Headache Office for years because of all that Dr. Nissan has done for me. When he left, I felt lost for the first time in years and was told he was no longer practicing Headache Medicine. They set me up with Dr. Chowdrey, assuring me she was just as good, if not better. BULL-____! She is an awful doctor, not to mention person! Nasty and inadequate.. a true representation of what Baylor has to offer? I found out through social media he is at: The Texas Headache Center 5150 Warren Pkwy Frisco, TX. With another office in Plano. He is with like 8 other Headache specialists in what I would call the Rolls -Royce of Headache clinics in the country. Congratulations Dr. Nissan, it likes like you are where you belong.

First, I liked the detailed history of my medical issues . Then when I had the first appointment, I could tell he was knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. I would sometimes have a severe migraine with aura daily. Now, I have been migraine free for two years. He is a wonderful doctor and treats the headaches and treats me like a person of worth, even though I am elderly.

Dr. Nissan's approach to patient care is very compassionate and he works to help you find the best solution for your chronic headaches. I have been seeing him for several years and he has kept me functional and working. I have found his staff extremely helpful and always return my calls. I honestly just stumbled across his name when I was having terrible headaches/migraines for weeks at time and did not know what to do. Very happy I did. He is fairly headstrong on the lifestyle modifications he expects of his patients, but when you actually implement them, you will find they work.

Dr. Nissan is very good at what he does; he has extensive research experience and background in treating migraines in people of all ages. I find this to be very helpful when we are coming up with a treatment plan. He really listens and makes sure you're on the same page and wants to help and make sure things are working for you. His office staff is horrible. Everything from billing to med assistants is IMPOSSIBLE to get a call back. I've had multiple medications I just gave up on filing because they refused to reply to the pharmacy or insurance company when they requested prior authorization. I rarely get a return call from the nurse/med assistant even when I leave messages regarding very important health concerns. It's so frustrating when such a great doctor has such awful staff.

Dr. Nissan was excellent. I had gone to the Diamond Headache Clinic to Chronic Migraines for the past 20 years. I have seen numerous doctors in those years but none the like Dr. Nissan.
