Dr. George Chukwuka Ozoude, MD

Dr. Ozoude was very informative and when he did my surgery was very informative before and after surgery. The staff at the Fall Creek location was very courteous. I would use him again for another ortho surgery.

A routine hip replacement for my husband was completely botched, leading to an immediate (same-day) second replacement. This has led to permanent pain and nerve damage making it so he limps and cannot lift his leg, dress himself, or even bend over. Not that Ozude cares or does anything to fix it. Every other surgeon and physician we have seen since cannot believe what he has done. He has ruined my husband’s life. Other local reputable orthopedic surgeons are shocked not only at what he did but the fact he didn’t note any of it in the surgical records.

So after being paged Friday saying hes coming all weekend being he was the dr on call he finally showed up Monday at 8 am told him he wasnt going to drain his elbow was going send home on antibiotics for 2 weeks if not better then had to follow up well my husband kept telling him something was wrong he could feel it but wouldnt listen.. so hospital physician came in and said let's do another ultrasound and guess what there is a abscess in the elbow so they sent for another surgeon that came in his 24 hour window and said it needs be drained but he cant do cause it's in the joint so now he is waiting for more drs that can do something while I'm out trying to find a orthopedic that can do something.. currently he cant be taken off the iv antibiotics cause it swells back up with fever in it.. Dr. Ozoude needs to open his eyes to all these bad reviews he has and maybe take a refresher!!

My husband was admitted to Memorial Herman in Humble .. on Friday they requested for this dr to see him told us they give up to 24 hours well here it is Sunday 915pm and he still has not shown up!!! The staff at hospital said he told them he would be there between 230 and 3 never showed then said would be there at 5 never showed and then said he will for sure be there today well I'm pretty sure hes not going to show up tonight.. will update this review tomorrow.. I only gave a 1 star cause had to give something to get this review to go on!!

Very hard to get a hold of. I was on hold for 15 minutes at the end of the day after I got off from work. Could not get through.

Surgery scheduled and days before, no one would answer my calls or return my calls. Knowing pre-op and pre-registration had to be done, 3 days before surgery, I still couldn’t get in touch with anyone in the office. I finally gave up and called another surgeon. My concern was if they didn’t answer my calls before surgery, what would happen if had a complication after surgery?

I would Strongly recommend you do your research before you make an appointment . I was referred to him by the Er Dr. that is affiliated with Herman Memorial (same network.) He is not at all empathetic as well as arrogant and not very skilled when it comes to ankle surgeries. I had 2 with him and after several months of rehab I need another surgery. Still can't walk without limping. He sits in his chair and gives vague answers w/o touching the injured area. He needs more practice and I hope you are not the guinea pig.
