George Profitt would not release my active prescription when called in. I have an ongoing condition that was completely explained to him in my first appointment (with photos) and I need my antibiotic immediately, not wait for another office visit due to fever, severe pain etc. I know my body and condition and do not need to come in for every refill. An office visit could also put me at risk for other illnesses because during that time my immune system would be compromised. It took 2 days and several phone calls to finally get my prescription, which delayed my recovery and added undo stress. I have dealt with this issue for over 30 years and know all my symptoms and what I need to heal. I travel to other states often and do not need this delay when I call my refill in. My other physicians all made sure I had my antibiotic on hand without issue so my recovery was not delayed. This is unacceptable care and it's ridiculous to withhold my antibiotic for an office fee.
