Dr. George Washington Tipton, MD

Dr. Tipton treated me several years ago for what apparently had been a back problem for several prior years. I had had traveling pain from knees, ankles, feet and hips and was advised by a knee specialist in the same practice that what I probably had was a back problem. That proved to be the case. Dr. Tipton was thorough in his evaluation and even gave me a few techniques I could use in an emergency to handle a sudden pain. He also referred me to an excellent physical therapist. The entire problem started to make sense and could be handled because of these resources. He has made a major difference in the quality of my life. And I didn't need surgery!

Several years ago Dr. Tipton evaluated my back problems, which sometimes appeared as knee and other traveling problems, with wonderful precision and referred me to an excellent physical therapist. I have been elated to have had such excellent advice because he also gave me some ideas how I can handle the back problem myself in an emergency, and I have a good resource if I need to revisit proper strengthening and handling of my body.

Dr. Tipton performed my discectomy and I recovered 100%. He was very attentive to my needs and went out of his way to make sure my husband was kept informed about my progress even though my husband was travelling at the time and had a difficult schedule. Post surgery and follow up with physical therapy was excellent.

Dr Tipton is one of the best. He cares about his patients and explains everything in full detail.
