Dr. George F Wong III, MD

Dr. Wong seems to be a nice enough guy, which is ok if all you're wanting is somebody to kick it with for 15 minutes. I had a stroke approximately a month ago; as a result, I have been waking up every morning with severe headaches and shooting nerve pain, which, from what I read is pretty common after having a stroke. Despite this, and despite my numerous requests for a non narcotic solution to help make this issue more bearable, his office has not even bothered to ensure that Dr. Wong makes the time to review and either approve, or disapprove my requests. After a week and a half of attempting to get my prescription request acknowledged by Dr. Wong, I just called in and cancelled any future appointments that I had with him. He and his office staff apparently have no regard for patients and their well being. If you haven't done so already, I'd recommend you follow my lead and cancel any appointments with him. I can't complain enough about this doctor and the lack of care his office… has shown. I agree with most of the other negative reviews posted on this site, Dr. Wong would rather send you off to someone else, then make any attempt to actually do his job. BE WARNED!

Dr. Wong's medical and surgical work has been magnificent. The office although old is cheerful and chatty, and we have always found great efficiency in dealing with the secretarial staff, who manage demanding multi tasking astoundingly well. The manner in which Dr. Wong explains the problem and the treatment he suggests is very straight forward and clear. Ten out of ten for this medical practice.

Love Dr Wong. I have Parkinson's and he has been a godsend. I have not progressed rapidly. He is very supportive, gives me his full attention and concern.

Dr. Wong is a very caring physician. He took the time to listen to my concerns, and was very thorough in his visit with me. His staff was very courteous, and I felt at ease when I was in Dr. Wong and his team's hands. I will definitely return. After reading some of the other reviews here, I couldn't disagree more with some of the things they say. Beware of disgruntled patients that will do anything to sabotage a great doctor if they don't get their way.

I have been seeing Dr. Wong for over 12 years and is everything one would want in a professional. He has never steered me wrong and has alsays been pleasant and accomodating. He's the best........

Dr wong is a very pleasant doctor , his bedside manner is like a tool. He rather send you to other places far away. Never giving you a diagnosis. Tells you one thing in the room, dictates something else and bills your insurance for something different. When you question dr wong he will get up and leave the room. He blames everything on a mental problem. Dr wo g says this is a major issue we need to get on this and then makes your next appointment for six month later.

Dr wong is very uncaring, I moved from another state with a problem, when get here given him by er, I nolonger have a problem is mental, always wants to send you to St. Louis or Columbia , he could careless, he bilks your insurance with all the diagnosis but never treats you for them. He is a horrible doctor.

The appointment staff are uncaring. I was to have a two month follow-up visit it has now turned into an 8 month appt without apology or attempt to put on on-call list.

Dr. Wong has a very good bedside manner. He is very personable and knowledgeable. He diagnosed a problem with my mom that could have been life changing if he hadn't. I am so very grateful for his attention to detail and knowledge of getting things done quickly.

My husband saw Dr Wong last week, this was the best medical experience by far of any he has had, better than his primary care Dr. Dr. Wong and his staff were courteous, caring, and great.
