Dr. George Zaky, PhD

I normally don’t like to leave negative reviews on doctors or anything for that matter but felt the need to express my honest feelings regarding my experience. I had a very disturbing and disappointing experience with this psychologist Dr. Zaky. As someone coming in for a state disability exam due to my mental health, I came in expecting compassion and possible guidance, but instead I was met with a cold and dismissive attitude and extremely bad energy the second I walked into the office. Rather than offering support for my health and the lack of listening to my mental condition, Dr. Zaky came across as detached and uninterested, making the session feel more like an obligation to him than a place of care. His lack of professionalism was evident, from the way concerns were brushed off to the absence of any meaningful examination. I left my appointment feeling worse than when I arrived . For anyone trying to get disability from the state this man seems to be only in it for the quick… buck. I would strongly recommend finding another psychologist if you’re truly in need of mental care. Our system is broken due to doctors such as Dr. Zaky who seemed to only be trained to deny people coming in for a state mental examination.

Insulting place to get mental health services. I would assume they only work for the state because of the way they treat their clients. We have met with George Zaky 2 times. Both of these were ordered from the state for my son. The first appointment was 15 min long with absolutely no concern for my son. He was more concerned with his next appointment coming in as I was trying to explain to him how hard it is to find mental help now, he was literally ushering us out the front. The second appointment did not happen although we attended, because Mr. Zaky wouldn’t allow me to be in the room with my son for a 1 hour memory test. I am his full-time care giver and his power of attorney. My son has a traumatic brain injury. Now, given the circumstances that led us here the last place I would leave my son alone would be a mental health facility and Mr Zaky is well aware of this. He is clearly part of the problem with the current mental health decline. How can you operate a mental health… facility with clearly no concerns for the needs of your clientele which is given to you by the state?! Oh, that’s why you are employed by the state! Please go back to school or take some courses in compassion so you can make a difference in people’s lives for the better instead of being an arm for the falsifying system you cater to.
