Dr. Georgette Jean Mccance, MD

Dr McCance is very professional and has a very warm caring Demeanor. I have been with her many years, and would not want any other doctor. She always helps diagnose and treat my issues.

I searched around and read tons of reviews trying to find a good obgyn after moving to Florida because I had a great one in Chicago. I drove almost an hour to see her and was disappointed. Rough bedside conversation manner, made me feel like she wasn't totally comfortable doing the pelvic exam because of some odd comments, and I heard her tell other staff in the hall she needed coffee before answering any more of my questions when she stepped out of the room. She also prescribed a follow-up test incorrectly according to another obgyn who later ordered for me. This year I finally found a much better doctor at a different Women's Care Florida location after asking around for recommendations from family and friends.

I have been a patient of Dr. McCance for about 12 years. She is just a lovely lady and so easy to talk with. She is calm, knowledgeable, professional and places you at ease during your examination. I feel that Dr. McCance is truly concerned about my well being, physically, emotionally and socially. My interactions with the staff at the Palm Harbor location, has been nothing but exceptional and professional. They make you feel welcome and cared for the minute you enter the practice.

Dr. McCance is so nice. She always asks me about my job and my sons. She never seems to be in a rush. She answers any questions I have. Knowing that my Mother died of cervical cancer she understands my fear if I have an abmormal pap and she will always get me in ASAP for another test. I recommend her to everyone!
