Dr. Georgina I Lester, MD

Dr Lester has cared for my children for years and I am grateful to her for the amount of support she has given through some extremely difficult times with the health of one of my children. She continues to work supportively with us and makes herself available more than any other doctor we have ever met. She had even made herself available by calling and even texting my older teen (who was shy on the phone) to check on them when they began a new medication! It has been a blessing to know she is there for us- when things are difficult that means the world to a family. She is smart and kind and knows how to speak with children and especially teens. She is really savvy the about transitions in life as a child ages and particularly good with teens.

She was my pediatrician from age 3 to 20 and she has an excellent bedside manner and truly cares about her patients. You never feel rushed with her and she also is willing to answer questions and follow up over the phone or after visit if need be.

I would say the two negative reviews submitted by two other patients are very helpful. I have been trying to avoid her. But in a recent walk-in we encountered her. She is highly respected in the office not because of her medical expertise, but because of her partnership/ownership. She would check the kid and order a blood test, without providing any insights about what's going on. Kid became sicker the following day. Be careful with the nurse as well. They are quick, but sometimes may be too quick to hurt infants.

Dr. Georgina Lester is a warm, caring lovely woman. However, if we had checked her background before we brought our child to her, he may not have suffered for years needlessly. As another physician told us after we pulled our child from Dr. Lestr's care, "Lester is not the sharpest tool in the box." She missed so many opportunities to properly diagnose our child, and now he may be beyond any doctor's help.
