Dr. Abraham is an astute professional that is quite rare in SWFL. He does not “go through the motions” like so many other colleagues in his field. When he asks a question, it is pertinent to you, the individual. Unlike most other doctors, especially those affiliated with Lee Health, who just recite the same, unrelated, impersonal questions that are asked to any, and all, that walk into their office. You are a person and a patient, to Dr. Abraham, not just someone with an appointment.

I have been receiving psychological treatment for many years. I began seeing doctor Abraham almost three years ago and my quality of life over this time period has been, without question, the best it has been in half a lifetime. His knowledge and experience are second to none. He knows how to properly diagnose the illness or problem and the correct manner of treatment. Dr. Abraham is resposible,in large part, for the happiness and high quality of life I am living every day. I consider myself very fortunate to be under his care.

I like his honesty

I don’t visit a physician to chat or talk about everyday life. I see Dr. Abraham for a specific diagnosis and he knows exactly what he is doing. He’s a no nonsense and right to the point kind of doctor. There is no wait time and I’m in and out of my appointment in less than 20 minutes. I would love to work for him.

Very quickly tried to give benzos. Very dangerous creeoy doctor notorious and is known in SW Florida as s bit of a freak. Contempt for patients.

Thank god I did not bring my 16 year old son to this arrogant, rude Dr. after 30 plus calls trying to get my son who was in crisis mode into a dr ASAP. I finally got a yes from Dr. Abraham. This was on a thurs and he could squeeze us on Monday at 12:30. This was better then our appt feb 5th we were waiting on so I said yep we will be there thank you... thought it was weird that he said during our first conversation on the phone that he would expect me to stay with him after he saw my son instead of going to another dr...but this is my first experience with a psychiatrist so I thought ok maybe people do this or something...NOW IT MAKES SENSE...needless to say my son was in crisis mode so I keeped calling dr after doctor to get him the help he needs now.....after 2 calls back to the office we had an appt for originally they worked us in... when I called Dr. Abraham to thank him and inform him that I had gotten my son in so I needed to cancel our appt... he was extremely rude...said… well thanks... I turned down other patients...and good luck with your son.... AND HUNG UP ON ME... are you kidding me...my life has been turned upside down for the last week watching my 16 year old son have 10-15 panic attacks a day..crying that he can’t breath, vomiting, headaches, 3 hospital stays. I was going to take the first person who could see him... thanks to god for watching over us that I didn’t end up at this office.... AND WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR WOULD NOT BE HAPPY THAT SOMEONE GOT HELP REGARDLESS OF WHERE IT WAS.... I hope for our very scary need of mental health help that People read these reviews before scheduling with this A-HOLE!!! I was desperate and didn’t.. ???? GOD IS GOOD!!!

I called Abraham Gerald on Monday 4-23-18 to set up an appointment. Mr Gerald answered his own calls & set up the appointment for Sunday the 29th. But on Tuesday the 24th I was let go by my employer after 8 years of service, for lack of concentration, hence my appointment. On my way home I called Mr Gerald to explain my issue & maybe postpone my appointment till I had a new job with another insurance but instead of responding with any words he hung up. at first I thought the line dropped so I called back to apologize if it was my phone but he admitted he hung up on me & that he had no use for me if I cancelled.... maybe all of this was a blessing in disguise cause this man would had messed up my life even worst. STAY AWAY HE IS A MONSTER WITH THE WAY HE TALKS TO PEOPLE.

Definitely over medicates his patients, super rude, and acts like he knows everything. Doesn’t really listen to you and is hands down a pill pusher.
