Dr. Gerald Bertiger, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Bertiger for years. He is the most thorough doc I have ever been to.

Rude, smug, condescending, not helpful, just trying to fill his doctor owned surgery center with a steady flow of income. Lost me as a patient within 1 minute of meeting him.

Most rude, uncaring doctor when you would expect him to be since he has Crohns himself. Didn't care about finding the right treatment or helping in any way. I would go to any other doctor before going to him.

A great Dr. Good staff.

I honestly believe that he is one of the best physician I have ever met. I was having some stomach problems and he was determined to find the cause of my discomfort. I am absolutely satisfied with him.

Literally the worst doctor I have ever seen. He is a rude arrogant angry little man who has no respect for his patients/humanity. He cursed at me and was calling another patient an "idiot" within earshot of all the clients. I would rather vomit and sh*t myself on a daily basis than see this man again. If only I had diarrhea during my appointment I would have left him a present on his desk.

He is the worst doctor I have ever seen. Rude mean and a general jerk.

Dr. Bertiger is arrogant and not only lacks a professional bedside manner but is condescending. He is not deserving of a star but since that is the lowest rating that is what I selected. Some of the office staff exhibits the same behavior addressing me as hon not even using my first name. Very unprofessional . I felt verbally abused by Dr . Bertiger he berated me . I suggest his partners consider these comments by myself and others. Retirement seems like a good option for this physician .

Extremely rude and condescending . Referred to me as sweetie, I am close to 60 . Very unprofessional I have been his patient for years and my last 2 visits with him have been very disappointing. I thought I would give him a second chance but his manner has not improved. I will be seeking another GI specialist.

I would definitely not recommend Dr. Bertiger. He has absolutely no bedside manor or compassion. When I was asking for help with my daughter (who is disabled) he just smugly made the comment that I needed to do a better job with her. Then he has the absolute nerve to turn around and send a letter to her primary care doctor stating that he advised us to do this and do that. Needless to say we are no longer patients of his.
