Dr. Gerald S Drose, PhD

I began seeing Gerald many years ago for counseling during my divorce. Since then, he's been our family therapist and has guided me and my children through many small and large crises. He's always been responsive and caring. I've recommended him often and believe he's one of the best.

As someone with a Master's in Psychology myself, I'm very picky about my therapists. My husband and I met with Dr. Drose for over a year following some challenges to our 25+ year marriage, and then our teenage son saw Dr. Drose individually from time to time due to high school-related stress. We all came away from our sessions with greater self-awareness and the tools to better handle the stressors and emotional 'hiccups' in our lives. Dr. Drose has years of experiences, listens well, and makes himself available whenever he's needed.

I would not recommend this doctor. He decided to start ignoring my emails after 10 sessions and provided essentially no help whatsoever besides listening to me and not providing any advice or help afterwards. I felt like just a paycheck to him. Felt ignored and not cared for thru the entire experience. Hopefully the next doctor I find will be more forward with help and attention towards someone like me who was in need someone to talk to. Please, if you are trying to decide between doctors, do not go with Gerald Drose "PhD". Good luck on your journey to being healthy and happy stranger.
