Dr. Gerald Francis Hayes JR., PsyD

Dr. Gerald (Jerry) Hayes received his BAA from the University of Florida, a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Gannon University, and his Doctor of Psychology from Wright State University’s School of Professional Psychology. Over the past 22 years, he has worked as a clinical psychologist in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health, hospitals, and private practice. Dr. Hayes has also worked in college mental health for the past 16 years. His areas of clinical interest include adjustment and relationship concerns, the "art" of meaning-making and building resilience, multicultural issues, enhancing self-esteem and identity exploration as well as specific work with underserved populations including the deaf and hard of hearing. His goal as a clinician is to assist all individuals in developing a healthy lifestyle and effectively managing conflict and stress.
