Dr. Gerald Irving Plovsky, MD

Dr. Plovsky is a Very Compassionate Psychiatrist that I have Seen for over 3 Years. He always asked me Specific Questions about my Current Lifestyle and Concerns. He knows that “Money is my biggest Worry”, but is always pleased to know that I have 2 Grandchildren that I enjoy enormously both as their Child Sitter, Carpooling weekly, and our Annual Beach Week at my Family’s Beach Home for at least a Week. He always asks if I still believe that the Medication he Prescribes for my ADHD is Beneficial, and I always have an Experience that I know it allowed me to not only Focus, but it also Prevents me from being Impulsive! He is also a Neurologist which is beneficial as I age and could be developing signs of Dementia or Alzheimer’s Symptoms, and I know that he is knowledgeable in prescribing a Strategy to Minimize if Possible either of these Medical Conditions. Hopefully neither my Father nor My Mother had either of these Elderly Medical Conditions diagnosed by their Physicians. I am… Writing this Review since there are very few Brilliant and Compassionate Psychiatrists in Greensboro! I highly Recommend Dr. Gerald Plovsky if you or a Loved one needs a Psychiatrist!

Excellent experiences with Dr Plovsky. He is a very insightful professional who was very responsive to this client’s needs. He’s been my doctor for years and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Plovsky, is a very good doctor. He's very friendly and listened to my problems. I am new to the area, and very happy to find Dr. Plovsky.

Dr. Plovsky does not seem to take a genuine interest in his clients care. He take as little time as possible for your appointment almost pushing you out the door. He has poor social skills treating you as if you were sub human and certainly not as a PAYING client. I would NOT recommend Gerald Plovsky, MD to anyone.

Worst staff I have ever seen

I hate when my husband goes with me on my visits. When my husband comes along with me Dr. Plovsky will talk to my husband as if I am not there.He will ask my husband all of the questions pertaining to my care like I am not in his office also. Sometimes I just want to yell at him I am in the room and that I am sitting right there also. He always talks about me in the third person. I think that is so rude!
