Dr. Gerald V Rizzo, DMD

I went through the worst dental experience of my life with doctor Rizzo. Very unprofessional and rude doctor. His assistant Elizabeth Santos is not better. She unsuccessfully tried to take a cast for the crown 4 times. During that time saliva was all around my face and clothes. Nobody even offered a napkin and she had to wipe saliva with her hand. During this unsuccessful attempts she repeatedly hit my front teeth with metal tools, and I think everybody understands how painful it is. Finally, Elizabeth decided to ask Dr. Rizzo what is wrong and he told her that before taking a cast she had to dry saliva from the tongue. From fifth attempt she was able to take a cast and Dr. Rizzo didn’t even checked it. At that time Dr. Rizzo was eating a sandwich while leaving the office (windows are facing the parking lot and I saw that). Looks like Dr. Rizzo believes in professionalism of his assistants because he didn’t bother to check if the temp crown was comfortable or not, he left before his… assistant even installed it. “Professional” assistant Elizabeth dropped the temp crown to the floor and just washed it under the tap water without even processing it with alcohol or something else. So she dropped the crown to the floor and put it in a mouth. Temp crown felt terrible and pain never went away. Permanent crown was even worse, it fell off shortly after he installed it. To fix the the problem I had to go to another dentist. And with my husband we had to write a complaint to dental commission to get our money back from doctor Rizzo.

I would recommend Dr. Rizzo to everyone. During my initial visit he explained what he planned to accomplish when he completed my dental work. He gave me options to choose from and set up a scheduled to complete the work that was good for me. Before each office visit and he would walk me through each step that he planned for that particular day. His staff is pleasant, professional and fun to be around. Dr. Rizzo is wonderful. He is always available in case of an emergency. My friends and family all go to him. We are all extremely happy with the procedures he has done for us. Do not hesitate to go to him.
