Dr. Geraldine Dina Kempler, MD

If I could give a zero star I would. This doctor is doing things that most likely violate her medical license. She commented on my friends' divorce case and told my friend that she was making a mistake to divorce her husband. She even told my friend's soon to be ex that she was sure that he will get 50/50 child custody. This woman has not known my friend or her husband for a total of 5 hours in her life yet she was lecturing my friend and giving the outcomof divorce case. Very unprofessional.

Dr Kempler has been an amazing pediatrician for us. She is always very open and approachable and has had nothing but great advice for all of our issues.

We love her! She treats our kids like individuals and she always takes the time to thoroughly address any questions or concerns we may have. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We have loved Dr. Kempler. We've taken our 2 kids - newborn and toddler to her for 2 years now. She always explains everything in a very straightforward way. She is very knowledgeable about current trends and data in medical research which helps inform her decisions about your child's care.

Dr.Kempler has been very good with my young children. She is always very caring and spends the extra time to learn about everything happening with the child and family. She is very knowledgeable and cares for the whole child, not just the illness. I see her at Westside Pediatrics, a group I also highly reccomend.

I have never been more shocked by such completely rude and abusive behavior by a medical professional in my life. She was very clear that all she wants her patients to do is exactly what she says. Any question asked was taked as confrontational. She kindly spent an hour literally yelling at me (in front of my son who she never actually acknowledged other than to breifly examine) because I didn't agree with her treatment plan for my son's allergies, and had some vaccine-related questions. She had no qualms about bold-facedly lying to me regarding vaccine statistics in her clinic, nor of telling me that I was a terrible mother. She also refused to perform allergy tests, and give us an epi-pen even though my son had a life-threatening ER visit post peanut introduction, and told us that he will never understand his culture if we limit his diet in everyway. Not only do I think this is the most rude and unprofessional woman, but had we taken her advice and not sought out a 2nd opinion… she could have literally brought about the death of our child. Long story short, she doesn't treat her patients as individuals, she resorts to shame in order to guilt parents into doing things her way, she does NOT listen and has zero regard for the religious, cultural, or family differences of her patients.

New patients BEWARE!! My husband & I went to several vaccine classes given by different MDs and after doing our do diligence wanted to put our children on a alternative vaccine schedule. I called Dr. Kempler to discuss options as I thought we had a good relationship at which point she became extremely argumentative and forceful on that call even raising her voice at me. Bottom line insinuating I was the worst parent ever for not doing what she said! We started looking for a new dr and had to go into Olson Pediatrics one last time. We were put in the treatment room directly by the reception area where we got to hear the back office talk about us and how we were that family that refused to vaccinate our children. At the end of our visit Dr. Kempler came in with a release form and forcefully demanded that I sign it in front of her. I was floored at how unprofessional she was. She is no longer at Olson Ped. and I write this in hopes that another parent not have to experience this.

Dr. Kempler is OUTSTANDING! The quality of care she provides for our children is second to none. I never feel rushed, she patiently answers my questions, and many times she calls me herself to follow up on various concerns. My husband and I view Dr. Kempler as an important resource in raising our children to be healthy and happy.
