Dr. Gerard Davidson, DO

My husband and I have been going to Doctor Davidson for too many years to remember. He is, caring, compassionate, and is willing to sit and explain things to you, in regular people words, instead of those medical terms. He does not rush you out to get to the next patient, to make that next buck.

I seen this guy,For 25 years. Was great back then. He needs to retire. He is so not the best at all anymore. I now have a new DR. He is great. Dr Davidson needs to take he 911 Porsche and retire. He sold his practice some years ago,And now works with a 1099 from the hospital Very bad service. Sorry Dr you need to get out.

Would not go to anyone else. He is no longer in my Network but well worth the money.

Our family has been going to Doctor Davidson since he started his practice in Dyer some thirty years ago. He is more of an old fashion doctor relying on common sense and analyzing the problem before ordering a battery of expensive tests. His office staff is not very courteous, but if you can get passed them, he is well worth the visit.

Dr. Davidson is an excellent physician. I moved out of the area 16 years ago and still make a 150 mile trip for annual checkups. He is a concerned, very competent doctor.

Dr. Davidson and his staff at Dyer Family Practice used to be a good place to go in its day. That day is long gone since this disorganized and extremely rude staff as well as Dr. Davidson, who is exclusively "visiting" his portable "laptop" and looking at the screen instead of you during your office visit, since the whole practice underwent a paperless system. There is no excuse for this. The doctor is in a hurry, is "too busy" reading the computer screen, does not spend any time with you, and the staff is so very rude in all areas from the front desk, intake, and check-out, that they should be reprimanded for their behavior from the hospital. For example, When told to "Hurry up and get into a waiting room" by a medical assistant, that same one rudely said, " So, speak up! "What do you want? You obviously are here for something". And then she rolled her eyes at me. Then when she wanted to take my blood pressure, she said in a nasty voice, "Gimme your arm, Now"! Then she recorded… the vitals, walked out of the room and slammed the door. I was shocked as I did nothing to deserve this as I am quiet and always polite toward others. About an hour later, Dr. Davidson walked in while starring at his laptop and complaining about how the computer charts are all messed up and then located my symptoms in the computer and stated he is in the process of sending an antibiotic to the pharmacy. By this time, I was very disappointed by the level of service I had received and felt that nobody cares in that office at all! No one cares. Period. You can feel the vibe there. No more than five minutes and no kidding, maybe one glance at me while he is glued to that portable computer, and he just stated to come back in 10 days if things don't get better. What a horrible office and doctor. Impersonal, cold, and unprofessional. Time to look for another doctor. There is no bedside manner nor any respect in that office. Advice: Stay far away.

Dr. Davidson id a great Doctor. The office staff leaves a lot to be desired as they are very curt and even rude, especially the front desk. The nurses are great, friendly and concerned.

I was a patient of Dr. Davidson for 13 and then moved to another town for 10 years that was too far away to remain his patient. After moving back to the area 10 years later I couldn't wait to become his patient again. He is very through and professional.
