Dr. Gerard William Graham, MD

Had a total knee replacement in May.. Dr. Graham administered my anesthesia. I felt sick and nervous, and, Dr. Graham was supportive, and, took away my nausea. I would ask for Dr. Graham again

Spent quite a bit of time with this doctor explaining the angst surrounding IVs and surgery, in general. Seemed every bit accommodating once in the surgical area; in fact, he stated confidence in "getting [me] through". Pulled the nitrous from my face to ask what was happening.....had a vein but it wasn't open! I asked him, "You did tell me you were good" at which point I was reduced to tears. I'm sure thankful that the guy holding the nitrous mask was compassionate! Doc Graham didn't even deem it important to circle around afterward to talk with me. hmmmmm........don't judge a book by its cover.

I had the fortunate experience of having Dr. Graham as my anesthesiologist at theOrtho Hospital. He did an excellent job. I have had issues with getting properly anesthetized in previous surgeries, so I was very apprehensive. Dr. Graham listened to all my concerns, and did things slowly and with much explaining, until I was comfortable enough to go forward. Next thing I knew, I was wide awake in my room, with a brand new shoulder!! He also came in the next day to make sure I was satisfied with the job he did. He is very kind, patient, caring...and, he has a GREAT sense of humor!! I would recommend him very highly to anyone.
