Dr. Germina Suffrant, MD

I was referred to Dr. Suffrant's office by my GYN due to his concerns of doing my procedure in a small hospital and wanted me to go to MUSC. She told me like it was (which is exactly how I want my doctor to be), she addressed my concerns, and asked if I had any questions. She never sugar coated anything or tip-toed around anything and I am very grateful for that because I would rather my doctor be honest than say they could do something when they weren't confident. She said it was a major surgery, but that she was confident with it.

Dr. Suffrant was very friendly.... she listened to my concerns.. AWESOME bedside manners!!

I start off seeing her for heavy cycles but ended up pregnant before we could address the cycle. I start spotting. I have had hcg level drawn. Noone calls about my levels. I have to call to get my levels. Noone update patient's portal. Noone seem to carry. I guess they are waiting for me to have a miscarriage. Would not recommend

Dr. Suffrant office staff isn't the friendliest. I had heavy cycles and was looking for options. The option she gave was to take birth controls never tried to find the problem. When I got pregnant her office never was concerned enough for me to come in when i told them i felt like i was leaking and come to find out my water broke early at 18 weeks they told me to wait til my appointment coming up. They didn't keep there word on medications that was given in office. Then when I deliever my baby at 18 weeks that didn't survive she said I could go back to work in a few days. Like what happened was traumatic.

I havent seen this doctor but I had to go to the er yesterday and the er doctor spoke with her cause i have a health issue. She told the er doctor for me to call back this morning and make an appointment cause i really needed to be seen. When i called this morning to make an appointment i was treated very rudely by the receptionist. So i will take my business else where. I hope you all have a blessed day.
