Dr. Gerrit Jan Schipper, MD

Do not go to this doctor. He did not perform the correct surgery and instead performed a surgery that was not approved for a condition that the patient did not have. After, the reason he stated the original surgery couldn't be performed was because of something that was clearly stated in and visible in the radiology reports and images. The surgery that he ended up performing has had serious and life-altering consequences. Find someone else...anyone else.

Dr Schipper is an excellent doctor! I am so happy to have found him. He knows what he is doing was not uncomfortable to talk to and never did I feel ignored or rushed. I had to have a hysterectomy and hormone replacement. I can't tell you how much better I feel. Thanks so much Dr Schipper.

Dr. Schipper is the most patient, kind, knowledgeable doctor I have. He goes over and above in his care for patients. I highly recommend him.

He’s in professional and his assistant makes me feel even more uncomfortable. Very invasive of my space

Changes diagnosis every visit, refuses to do FMLA paperwork for anything but pregnancy. He does not discuss what to expect with procedures.

I went in for a hysterectomy for uterine fibroids. I had been seeing a nurse practioner in his office & she was great too but didn't do surgery. She referred me to him. He did the pre surgery consult, surgery and post and couldn't have been more caring and professional. He has a great sense of humor & made me feel at ease at every step of the way. I can't say enough positive things about he & his office. Just Fabulous! I would recommend him highly. =)

I went to see Dr. Schipper at the recommendation of a trusted friend. I had complications from a surgery with another practitioner and needed repairs. He was wonderful -- took care of the problem in a professional and courteous manner. I have the highest regard for him.
