Dr. Ghassan Jamil Al-Zaghrini, MD

I have had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Al-Zaghrini for 10 years. Best doctor ever. He takes his time during our visit and I never feel rushed. He's very easy to talk to and gives great advice. I would not be alive today had it not been for him. His staff is very friendly and professional. Thank you Dr. Al for all you've done for me throughout the years.

This evening I had to take a client to see him. He would not listen to her when she explained what she was feeling. The Dr. Just kept saying she was too young for heart problems and needed to work out!! He kept repeating that even after she told him that she suffers from am eating disorder. My client left the appointment mid way through crying. WORST BEDSIDE MANNER IVE EVER SEEN.

I was surprised Dr Al spent a lot more time talking to me asking for details and explained the result details to me. He was present in the stress test to make sure the test is done right, watching the results and calling orders. He ordered additional tests immediately to analyse my situations instead of dragging me. He explained pros, cons and the risk analysis of my situations and medications. He is very genuine for my health. The staff was friendly and appointment on time.

He referred me for valve repair surgery saying that the surgeon never disagree with his recommendations. However, the cardiac surgeon said I was a l-o-n-g way from needing surgery. I asked for a copy of my echo to see if Dr Al-Z was looking at different results. His staff gave me an EKG and tried to convince me it was an echo report. I gave up trying to get a hold of him. He doesn't believe in giving you data to support his findings. Just that you look a little better than last time or a little worse.

Dr. Al saved my life nearly 16 years ago when I was taken to the hospital with a major heart attack. He has been my cardiologist ever since. He is helpful, straightforward, and kind. I’m doing great. I will always appreciate Dr. Al.

This doctor is amazing. He takes a interest more then other doctors I have had in the past. He spends time and explains everything to you. No rush to get you out. I feel he is genuinely interested in my well-being.

I called for an appt - new CASH patient. I was referred by another physician in the group. I called to see what it would cost me before I went and a Hispanic Staff Member actually ask, "You don't have the Money" after telling me it would be $700.00. I had the money, but I wanted to be prepared since I just changed ins companies. I am in my 50's and have never been treated by a physicians office like I was here. My brother in law is also a physician in Sugar Land and said the office staff can either make or break you. Wake Up Doctor before your staff ruins your business!

There are much better cardiologists in Houston. This one will not discuss nutrition or any real options. His only answer is high dosages of medicines that make it worthless to carry on.
